The ''page_id'' field stores a identifier for your page that is unique for your website.



It's a random generated string of length 12.

===== Usage =====

  * It is used to create:
      * a [[docs:router:permalink|permalink]]
      * a [[docs:page:url|permanent url]]

The [[docs:analytics:replication|data replication process]] uses it in order to replicate data from the file system to the database

It's also useful if you move page files between ComboStrap installation such as a release from development to production
