The ''inote'' is a [[docs:block:note|note]] that can be added along side a text (ie inline). It gives [[docs:styling:emphasis|emphasis]] on an ancillary text that adds context to the primary text.

As a replacement, you could also use:
  * a [[docs:content:tooltip|tooltip]]
  * or a [[doku>wiki:syntax#footnotes|footnote]].
